Minister. What is a Minister?

The Lord explains clearly in the following verse.

Mt 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

The Word Minister throughout the scriptures meant a servant to the Lord, a person that was not financially compensated, in many cases the individuals hardly had regular meals.

How can so many people not know this?

Well it's simple.

People that are serious about their profession will put a lot of time into learning their craft. but these individuals, both leaders and followers, are not serious about obeying the Lord or helping the needy .

They prepare their speech or sermon and a song. Collect money from their audience, then both leaders and followers go home and continue their routine.

 Believing there's an eternal reward waiting for them.

If you read Matt. 25: 31-46 the lord says something totally different about ministers.
